Debra Goldson-Prophete, MD
Debra Goldson-Prophete received her medical degree (MD) from Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons in NYC. She completed her Internship & Residency training at New York Hospital- Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
She is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Physicians & Surgeons at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Goldson-Prophete is also a Civil Surgeon with the United States Civil and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Dr. Goldson-Prophete has received numerous state, regional and national awards including NJ Monthly Magazine’s “Top Doctors”, Consumer Research Council of America “America’s Top Physician”, as well as “Best Doctor in America” in multiple years.

Lena Samuel, MD
Dr. Lena S. Samuel is an accomplished global health physician leader, primary care physician, and travel medicine specialist dedicated to advancing health equity and improving access to high-quality care.
A first-generation American, Dr. Samuel earned her Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Master’s in Global Public Health from New York University. She completed her Family Medicine residency at BronxCare Health System and has built a career at the intersection of primary care, global health, preventive medicine, and health education.
An accomplished researcher and author, Dr. Samuel has contributed to numerous international medical journals and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the International Society of Travel Medicine.
Throughout her career, she has provided compassionate medical care and longitudinal follow-up to underserved and disenfranchised communities across the United States and the Caribbean. Her work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves access to excellent primary and preventive healthcare, regardless of circumstance.
Dr. Samuel’s commitment to global health and service has been recognized through the New York University Master’s in Global Public Health Scholarship, the CIR-SEIU Project Medishare Medical Mission Award to Haiti, and the World Alive Medical Missions Scholarship.
Today, she continues to champion health equity, health literacy, preventive medicine, and accessible, patient-centered care— both locally and globally.
Shyla Kissoon, PA
Shyla is a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant with a passion for providing high-quality healthcare to improve the lives of her patients. She obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at King’s College in 2019 and has worked in Internal Medicine since then. She is looking forward to working with her patients to optimize the best treatment plan for preventative and overall health and wellness.
Prisscillia Assale, NP
Priscillia is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for adults across the lifespan. She manages a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, obesity, etc.
She believes every patient deserves to be treated with honesty, respect, and the same quality of care she would want for herself. Known for her approachable style, Priscillia takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in clear, understandable language. Her goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and confidence to actively participate in their health.
Priscillia earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and is committed to staying current with the latest evidence-based practices to provide the highest standard of care.
